James D. Best is the author of The Shopkeeper, published by Wheatmark in 2007. The Shut Mouth Society, published by Wheatmark, 2008. The
Digital Organization, published by John Wiley & Sons in 1997. James has also written two regular magazine columns and numerous
journal articles. As a conference speaker, he has made presentations throughout North America and Europe.
He has been the president
of Vista Software, The Scottsdale Center for Business Technology, and the Grand Circle Corporation. Mr. Best was AlliedSignal’s
Vice President of Worldwide Computing & Network Operations.
James is a member of the Scottsdale, Arizona corral of Westerners
and belongs to Western Writers of America. He is a True West Maniac.
He now consults periodically and writes all the time. James
and his wife, Diane, live in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
